Bobby Valentine’s Sports Academy will be holding a two day tryout/evaluation for the BVSA 12U Cooperstown Fury team. BVSA Fury has a bid for participation in the Cooperstown Dreamspark 2010 tournament, in Cooperstown, NY for the week of August 28th thru September 3rd.
All players trying out for this BVSA Fury select team must be age 11 or 12, as of May 1st. Your son cannot turn 13 before May 1st, 2010. It will be a once in a life time baseball experience, for the serious player, looking for great coaching, and a chance to win the Cooperstown tournament.
Try-outs are scheduled for Monday March 22nd and Tuesday March 23rd, from 5pm to 7pm. Monday March 22nd, will be a hitting and physical assessment day, and will take place at the BVSA facility, located at 72 Camp Ave. in Stamford, CT. Tuesday March 23rd, will be a fielding and scrimmage day, and will be held at the Stamford JCC, located at 1035 Newfield Ave. in Stamford, CT.
There is a $60.00 try-out fee payable at sign-ups. The fee must be paid in order to try-out. Make all checks and money orders, payable to Team Fury LLC. All player’s, must be pre-registered by March 22nd. To register, please visit the BVSA website www.bobbyvacademy.com or call 203-968-(BVSA)
Bobby Valentine’s Sports Academy will take the top 14 players in the tri-state area, for the opportunity, to be a part of the first ever Bobby Valentine’s Cooperstown Team. For the first round of tryouts, we are limiting enrollment to the first 30 players. Individual evaluations are available to accommodate your schedule.
